About her
I'm outgoing, easygoing and attractive.
My most distinctive characteristic is that I'm curious. I love learning about people, places and ideas. I'm a former journalist and my very favorite thing in the whole world is to relax over dinner and drinks with a group of intelligent people discussing events, ideas and interests.
I like to read, although I do less of it than I used to. I love films, theatre, politics and travel. Indeed, travel is my passion. In the past two years, I've visited Cayman, England, Dubai, India, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam as well as England where I was born and grew up. I now want to explore some of Africa and Australia and I want some to do it with.
I'm physically very fit and love to cycle and kayak. I go to the gym most days and I love to work in my garden. There is little better in life than jumping into the pool after working out or gardening.
I'm liberal by American standards and find the politics of selfishness very hard to understand. As a former educator, I really care about everyone having equal opportunity and an equal chance to succeed.
I also care very much about the environment. I'm fortunate enough to live on a beautiful sanctuary island and I appreciate it every day of my life. I wish everyone could enjoy being surrounded by nature.

I'm looking for friendship, and perhaps love, with a financially fit, fun, easy-going man with good sense of humor and a world view.
I would like him to be intelligent, physically fit and have some of the same interests as me, particularly in regard to wanting to travel and experience the world.
