About him
I am a social animal. Often described as a "Character". Ex Royal Armoured Corps Major, from an old Anglo Irish family dating back to William the Conqueror. I am a man of many parts who appreciates the right female company, having had a long and idyllic marriage. I am a cheerfully determined man who gets on well with all sorts of people. I have reached the stage where I want to put my past behind me and forge a new shared future with the right person.
I am loyal, honest, intelligent, and fairly tolerant, I am not a neat freak but can scrub up well. Can do things "off the cuff" but also capable of planning things together.
My interests are many- motoring, countryside, travel, friends, family, visits, sailing, hovercraft, military, political, opera, music, painting, and now gardening and making models for grand children.
A typical Taurus with Aries on the cusp. I have seen much of the world in my time as a soldier and consultant, culminating in being awarded the MBE by HM the Queen. I have run a Championship winning car racing team and many years ago set some world records with one of my hovercraft.
