This, as everyone will agree, is the difficult part. Summing up soooo many years in such a small space was never going to be easy.
My family and friends describe me as a thoughtful, honest, well travelled people-person, independent, interesting and loves to laugh. Water is my passion - from icy rivers to tropical seas. Dancing, may it be tango or swing lift my spirits; whilst music and the arts are a love best shared.
I am exceedingly proud of my children and my grandchildren melt my heart. They certainly keep me young and a glass of wine/gin keeps me sane!!
I have spent most of my professional life in teaching, working with vulnerable young people in the uk and abroad. I have been inspired to look at the world with an open heart and mind and have tried to pass this on.
