About him
I'm an independent living, was a hard working man in the property management sector but now semi-retired, never married and no children with own house, car etc. who shops, cooks, washes and irons etc. Well, I was trained by the military!
I have a caring and helpful disposition and have a full and interesting life.
Sport plays a very important part of my life (still playing occasional cricket, golf, tennis, badminton, lawn bowls, cycle and swim and snow ski too whilst just learning ballroom and latin dance!) and watching/listening to most Test cricket home and abroad - just about to leave for Sri Lanka - and watching West Bromwich Albion occasionally!!
Going to pub gigs (R&B and blues mainly) and comedy clubs for light relief from the stresses of the day/week also feature in my leisure time. I probably watch a little too much TV having shopped/cooked/eaten etc too as was often too tired or lacked the motivation to do anything else.
I have a classic car - a Triumph GT6 which is a constant source as in constant need of some restoration too!
I'm involved with local resident community issues and am on a couple of committees for that.
I like to travel both here in UK and worldwide and have many stories to tell for those who's like to listen about both in some interesting places. Not known for lazing around a pool or beach for a fortnight though - but maybe a day or three at the end! Much prefer walking about exploring the environs especially coastal and mountain topography with all senses on full alert. Better than any drug I suspect, but having never taken any to truly make a valid comparison.
Really enjoying my semi-retirement and still have plenty of ideas on how to fill my time but sharing with a compatible lady would be super. Are you that lady perhaps??

I'm not looking for a nanny, cleaner or for someone to spoil me - well occasionally perhaps - but rather one who enjoys life, is independent and looking for a companion/lover to share the remaining years on an equal basis.
I live in Cheam, north Surrey. Crossing the Thames and going east further than Croydon just takes forever with the snarled up London roads. I may even downsize, release some property equity and even be prepared to relocate if the right lady is found.
I doubt if there is someone alive that will want to mirror all my activities and interests but some would be nice so we can do some things together and perhaps I can introduce you to some others and you can do likewise for me. So much to see and do in this world isn't there and with time slipping inexorably away....
Smoking is a problem for me (so I don't and never had) as I've always had asthmatic respiratory problems since birth and cats not a good idea either as have a similar reaction to most of them. Whilst I like animals - in the wild is the best place for them I reckon - you can gather that I'm not a lover of any house pets really either.
