Right then.....
I guess this is where a guy states he is cultured, worldly and loves kittens. I hope the first two apply, I just need a bit of encouragement with the third one!
I'm very lucky to have my head in the clouds but my feet on the ground. The feet are kept down to earth by a fantastic family and a cracking group of friends that I am very lucky to have.
I am a happy, optimistic person that knows people make the world go around, not material things. I'm very lucky that I have a job that I am hugely passionate about (developing medical technology in Cambridge) and that I feel does actually make a difference. I do realise however that having just your work in your life can be a little bit one dimensional.
I will quite happily take responsibility for my actions and the way I feel and have no problems talking about things and won't bottle them up, life is too short to stew about little things!
I have a thing for travelling and seeing new places but I'm equally happy cuddled up on the sofa after a busy week with a glass of wine. I've been from San Diego to Cuba, India and Thailand and managed to pick up some Benidorm Disco Sunglasses on the way.
There's lots more to see and do, I have an ever growing list of places I'd love to get to. Next up is a long overdue return to Asia to experience China & Hong Kong....can't wait!

Whilst this is a list of 'ideals' I do live firmly in the real world, however.............it would be nice if a girl had a decent job and a bit of ambition to get on. Someone that is not pretentious but still has standards. A girl that has her own life and friends and realise that I have this too.
The only physical ideals are that she is reasonably slim, reasonably tall (I'm 6'1") and that she looks after herself, that does not mean having to get dressed up just to get a pint of milk though!
And last but most defiantly not least; a smile on her face, it goes a long way....
