About her
Where do you start with these things? I've been instructed by my best friend to say that first and foremost, I'm a great friend who makes time for everyone, remembers everyone's birthdays etc.
I'm lucky to have a full and varied social life - it's a pretty full-on mix of shopping with girlfriends, behaving disgracefully with old university friends, dinner parties and good times out with the work crowd (I'm a project manager at John Lewis, which I love). After all that, a few hours by myself with the Sunday papers is also pretty essential - though I'd be great to share that space on the sofa for a like-minded soul!
I love to cook and have recently produced a couple of elaborate cakes - a friend's wedding cake and a 40th birthday which was requested to be a set of boobs in a corset!!!.
My family are important to me and after having my parents living in Africa for a few years which allowed some fabulous holidays and the opportuntiy to see Africa away from the tourist trail it is lovely to have them just down the motorway - a great little escape from London!
I guess you could sum it up by saying that life is generally great, but a friendly face to share it with would be the icing on the cake.

Since the day Kirsten and I met in the dinner queue on the first night at university, we've been the best of friends. And that's one of her many amazing qualities - she is a fabulous friend. Kind, loyal, funny, insightful, always there to listen, either with great advice or simply with a glass of wine and a sympathetic ear. She manages to make time for everyone. What else? She's very funny, with an endearing mischievous side. Kirsten's also a very smart cookie - she's great at her job, is widely read and about the most up to date person on current affairs I know. Oh yes - and she's a fantastic cook. An invitation to dinner should never be turned down! Basically, I can't imagine life without Kirst in it. Lovely, bright, full of life, interested, and interesting...anyone would be lucky to spend time with her. She's special.
