About her
I hate this part, but here goes..........I am a painter (sometimes walls too), doing quite well at the moment, busy preparing for the next show. I recently moved, leaving a life behind full of work, children and lodgers, ready and eager for the next phase of my life. I have brought with me my passions and interests. First on the list is probably food (I have an allotment) so I cook a lot, exotic and otherwise, and love eating at home or out. Otherwise I keep pretty busy doing things with friends, reading (Booker type stuff), quality films, and art. I have recently started to spend some of the year in Portugal, where I can work as well as take time off. I also keep up with the world around me and love a good discussion. I have left behind the detritus of life's lessons, and am positive by nature. "The world of the living contains enough marvels and mysteries as it is........" I am fairly quiet, but have a lot to say, and a good sense of humour. Friends would say that I am also a wise and willing listener.
What do I want out of life other that what I already have? More male company certainly, as I much prefer talking to men, and maybe there is potentially a passionate constant companion out there. A witness to one's life adds meaning.

Attractiveness is fortunately very subjective , but some kind of appeal is important to me.......an attractive personality probably more important than looks. I would be most interested in someone who is fairly together, has aged well, and most important....someone who shows an interest in me! You will probably have interests of your own as well as share some of mine, and if you don't especially appreciate food, it would be hard going. You would also be fairly liberal politically. you would be happy with a book or silence, but like a good laugh.
