About him
I have a wide circle of friends, a house in France, a great love of socialising at events, opera, racing, theatre, concerts, playing tennis, golf, cricket and (now watching) rugby and currently no one with which to share them on a closer basis. I have been in telecoms/ITC sales for the last 38 years and have travelled widely, spending 10 years in expatriate jobs in Borneo, Hongkong, Singapore and Saudi Arabia. I would love to find an excuse to go back to South East Asia to show someone around. Of Irish/Yorkshire extraction, I am thoroughly English but with a slightly hedonist bent. Although probably a little older than your ideal, my friends say that I look ten years younger and try to keep my waistline in check by regular excercise and golf & cricket. She will be slim, educated to degree standard with an interest in the Arts, an eclectic taste in music, hopefully of opera, fond of travel, particularly to France where I visit as often as time allows. A good sense of humour is decidedly important as is a reasonably laid back attitude. A fussy approach to everything in life is a no no. She will be independent in terms of financial security, or at least working, and in her general attitude to our relationship, because it is important to bring as much variety into our social lives as possible to keep familiarity and boredom at bay.
