About him
I'm interested in architecture, art and ancient history and like to go to galleries and look at, and appreciate, ancient buildings, of whatever description.
I cycle for fitness and fun and cycle regularly with my friends around Bury. I play a lot of tennis, less regular golf and countryside walking and I'm knowledgeable about the natural environment. I am a keen forager and wildlife watcher as i go.
Also can't resist a mountain to walk up wherever I happen to be-ticking off the peaks in the Apennines.
Currently starting to import classic Italian cars for pleasure and maybe for a future business!
I enjoy being practical and can turn my hand to most things. I have renovated a number of old properties in the past, preferring the hands-on approach over employing tradesman. I'm particularly interested in period features and their restoration. I'm working on my creativity to work alongside this.
I have travelled extensively over the years and this will be a major part of my future. Still to get to Africa. Road trips a particular joy for me. It'd be great to share these adventures with someone of similar mind, so much nicer shared.
My linguistic skills are not complete-my Italian at best at intermediate stage. French maybe a little better, both need more practice!
I have a mini collection of early sixties Vespa's-ready for a little fun riding out to a local pub on a summers evening.
My work is portable, so there are no issues for me in relocating to another part of the country.
