About her
I lead a busy, active life and really enjoy living in the country but working in a city so that I can have the best of both worlds.
I think my friends and family would describe me as relaxed and easy going, pretty competent and independent but knowing that I can ask for help when I need it. However, they are concerned that I could let my work take up too much of my time and have encouraged me to take this bold step of finding someone to help me reset my priorities. Having animals is a really good way of getting me out in the fresh air and keeping me fit but I just have that feeling that I need to try different things too and that is so much easier if there is someone special to encourage you. Retirement beckons in a couple of years and I am beginning to look forward to it.
I enjoy good company but am happy to curl up with a good book in my own space too.
I would like to explore more of the UK and Europe and appreciate the arts, crafts and cultures that we have on our doorstep. I am a member of the National Trust but don't utilise it nearly often enough.
I certainly enjoy the finer things in life, including good food, travelling and countryside pursuits but as treats to be shared rather than expected all the time.
I am very positive and optimistic but perhaps not as adventurous as I might be!

It would be great to meet someone who is easy going, active, and a lover of animals too. Being able to enjoy each others company, be relaxed and have a laugh together is really important to me. Someone who shares some of my interests and hobbies would be good but also someone who could introduce me to new experiences would be very welcome.
They would need to have a flexible lifestyle, preferably with an independent approach to life but looking to share time together too.
