I don't think that if I write am essay about myself describing all my good points (which there are loads of course ;)....), that it would make a huge difference to somebody wanting to meet me and wanting to get to know the real me, and vice versa.
The first attraction (The Hook) is your profile picture(s), if you don't like the look of someone or you don't get a tingle, you simply keep looking until you do. But when you do get mutual attraction, (We have both Fan'd each other for instance), that is when you start to build a rappor and hopefully the spark will ignite and turn into a roaring fire!
