About her
I'm outgoing and fun to be with, I have a quirky sense of humour, am kind and generous. I am a glass half full girl and always see the good in others. I hate racism, injustice and bigotry and have found 2016 to be a disastrous year with everything that is going on in the world, Brexit, Trump, Syria and the rise of populism. I just hope that this year will be easier.
I love to travel, there are so many places in the world that I'd love to see. Being retired I can now travel outside school holidays which is far better value. I am a frequent theatre goer and have seen many excellent productions, London has so many exciting theatres and there is so much talent about. I enjoy reading, going to the cinema and art galleries. I volunteer at my favourite museum in London, the V&A once a fortnight at the Membrship desk.
I'm a member of my local gym, I have a personal trainer who tortures me on a regular basis but he tells me it's for my own good.
I love to cook and enjoy entertaining, I find cooking very relaxing and enjoy experimenting in the kitchen. I eat most food but am allergic to mussels and hate tripe.
I'm a member of The National Trust and English Heritage and love visiting the houses and gardens all over the UK.
Long walks in the countryside and by the sea on a fine day are just my cup of tea,
I believe that life's too short and that one should make the most of it while one can, never put off to tomorrow what you can do today!
