About him
I would describe myself as intellectual, intuitive and caring. I am an independent person and comfortable with my own company. I spend quite a lot of time thinking about things and often get lost in my own thoughts. However, I can be practical when I need to, although it is not something that comes naturally to me.
I enjoy spending time one on one with people where I can really get to know them on a deep level. I love having deep conversations about life and discussing topics such as art and philosophy. I would describe my sense of humour as witty and I find the kind of humour that points out obvious contradictions and absurdities in life very funny.
I have a degree in Philosophy and Film Studies and am passionate about both subjects. I am also interested in classical music, classic cars, and I really enjoy watching British crime dramas such as Inspector Morse and A Touch of Frost. I also like spending time in nature, whether that be going for a walk or cruising the rivers of Norfolk in a motor boat (my usual holiday).
I have a full-time job in IT and so also spend time learning about new technologies and concepts.

I am looking for someone who is willing to take the time to get to know me properly and accept me for who I am. They would certainly need to enjoy having intellectual conversations. Ideally, they would share some of my interests but maybe also expose me to some areas of life I am less familiar with.
