Hello!
After many years of flying solo, now seems to be a good time to look for a co-pilot to enjoy the next part of the journey!
Kids almost adults (16 and 19), eldest is away at Uni. Happy in my own skin, non-materialistic, happy with my job - will never make me rich but get a lot of satisfaction out of it, and love my family and friends - enjoy whatever time we spend together no matter how simple, it's the company rather than the activity.
The usual 'likes' list comes next I suppose... Walking, Foreign language films/dramas, Reading, the Coast (regularly visit family in Pembrokeshire/Carmarthenshire/Ceredigion ), Woods, Laughing, Cooking/Baking, Creating (have done courses in Blacksmithing, Floristry, Glass and Textiles to name a few), Learning new skills/topics, Eventing/Showjumping, Gardening, Old houses/antiques - just a bit to give you a conversation starter!
As for me, I'm easy going, would rather talk than have a drama, not really into technology/gadgets so not glued to any devices (back to 'would rather talk' than text!), get on with most people and am comfortable in most situations, pretty self-sufficient and love to laugh or talk about anything. Take an interest in the world around me, whether that's the natural world, current affairs or art/culture etc. Quietly adventurous - drove single-handedly around the entire ring road of Iceland last year in a motorhome despite never having driven abroad before or driven anything as large (was a lot bigger than I expected when picking up at the airport ha ha!) but you won't find me jumping out of planes, scuba diving or abseiling - and definitely not pot-holing, tried it once, never again...! I've been lucky enough to travel to some wonderful places across the globe but these days much prefer a 'doing/exploring' holiday than spending a week sat on a beach. Prefer old to modern in most things.
