About him
I'm quite quiet and can be happy with my own company, but I can also be outgoing and sociable. I suppose you would say I am the practical and reliable type - head definitely not in the clouds! I like to be a little adventurous and experience different cultures, and have been fortunate enough to be able to do so by travelling and living extensively overseas.
I have just moved to the North West from Tyneside and am looking forward to exploring the area. I like to walk - or cycle - but not in the rain and mud- and it would be wonderful to meet someone whose company I enjoy and who could introduce me to the area.
I plan my life to keep as busy as possible with travel, hobbies, interests and by keeping in touch with my widespread family and friends. In the past few years I have been to Thailand, the Dominican Republic, Russia, Poland, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, the UAE, the USA and Canada. I spend a lot - probably too much- time building and flying radio control aircraft and am also interested in art, history, current affairs and, sometimes, I attempt a particularly pathetic form of golf. And I do voluntary work.
What am I not? Well I have zero interest in celebrities, fashion, soap operas, reality tv , social media or the royal family, and I’m not interested in propping up bars whilst gassing to old cronies.
My life is busy but it's not complete without a female . I would love to share it with the right person whether as a friend, or whatever comes after. Someone to share experiences, have some laughs, tell me when I'm being stupid and, hopefully, enjoy my company.

Ideally someone who is fun to be with, intelligent, healthy, tolerant, positive, open minded, sensible, down to earth and honest. But you can't have everything of course!
I like women who are good talkers and listeners, don't like women who shout and swear a lot. Tattoos and piercings are definitely a turn off!
I find it impossible to specify exactly who I’m looking for because I will only find that out when I meet her. Profiles are all very well but they are no substitute for conversation and chemistry!
