A widower for almost twenty years now, I am ready to move on. There is much to do and see in the world, and I am eager to start now and not wait for an unknown tomorrow. I am an honest, responsible person who has learnt not to take the person you love for granted. I am easy to get on with, a good conversationalist, and respect other people's opinions and desires. Being active mentally and physically, I enjoy walks in the countryside and like to keep fit - as I believe it is important to look after both body and spirit. Other interests are the cinema, sampling restaurants and I enjoy DIY. Flying is not a favourite occupation, but I do want to travel, especially to explore areas in our own beautiful country. I moved back to the UK in June 2015 having lived for 17 years in France where I owned my own home and business.
