I was widowed 7 years ago and despite having a good circle of friends and a loving family I miss the company of a special person with whom to enjoy a close relationship. Weekends away, walks, visits to the theatre or even the simple everyday tasks such as gardening or cooking a meal bring more pleasure when shared. I am a happy, positive person who my friends say is unselfish, kind and thoughtful with a good sense of humour. My particular passions are the theatre and all kinds of music (and watching tennis) but I do like intelligent conversation on current affairs. I believe all people have worth and have little time for bigotry or arrogance.

Ideally I am looking for an educated, warm person with whom I can hold intelligent conversation, is a good listener and has a positive approach to life. A good sense of humour is essential, as is kindness and thoughtfulness. It would be beneficial if he also had an interest in the theatre / drama / music and was sociable.
