About her
When I married 30 years ago I never imagined I would be on my own one day, but I am.
I live and work in London, although I can be found wandering around the east Kent countryside at weekends. I have two wonderful daughters, 26 and 29 years old, who live near me. I work as a design delivery consultant, have been self employed for over 25 years, and have had the privilege of working on a number of very high profile projects in London. I reap immense joy from design and appreciate all forms of visual arts, but my passion lies with three dimensional design - architecture, furniture, interiors, product and landscape, although I have also, fairly recently, discovered the delights of photography. I am a capable cook, have green fingers, have nurtured some useful DIY skills and enjoy the spaces I live in. I swim, cycle and walk miles but haven't skied or sailed for a number of years. I love London and spend hours walking through this beautiful, multicultural city, especially along the river. I adore the climate and colours of Provence, am fond of travelling and experiencing new cultures, but derive just as much pleasure from delivering a successful project or spending time with, and looking after, my family and friends. I can be enigmatic but am uncomplicated and cherish my privacy. I have a mass of integrity, my friends would hopefully tell you I am kind, generous, considerate, amusing and thoughtful. I am constantly berated for putting everyone else before myself and have been told on numerous occasions that it is time I focused on myself a little more.
