About him
Mediterranean by birth and educated in the UK from a young age, I’ve benefited from both cultures. I'm healthy and keep fit (not obsessively) – must be the love of olive oil and largely Med diet. I prefer spending time expanding mind, over muscles!
I’m stable, easy-going, considerate, kind and generous. I value family/friends, integrity, respect for others and loyalty; not like a lapdog, though I’m well house-trained! I'm open, can talk about most things, including "feelings". I’m happy with who I am - and won't run to the mirror to "find myself"!
I’m a professional man, respected in my field as an executive “head-hunter” in my own business(es) for 35+ years. I’m still interested and choose to work, but solo now; with some flexibility. I've rebounded from many hard knocks, both business and personal. I’m resilient; but with a soft centre; so, may borrow your hankie in a weepy movie!
Playing my piano enriches my soul. It’s a great way to relax and clear my mind. I'm quite accomplished (but advanced/hobbyist, rather than professional). Have a broad repertoire (jazz, film music, new age, rock/pop, classical). I’m not a music “snob”; and am "into" any music that “makes my spine tingle”. In my early career I worked in the music industry. I’ve always loved discovering new music.
I have many other interests, including live concerts (but not festivals!), am a member of Ronnie Scott's, enjoy theatre/cinema (world cinema especially). I love reading (now mainly history/non-fiction), museums and places of interest, weekends away visiting friends/family (adult son & daughter in S.Wales; sister in Yorkshire; a brother in Scotland!). I like attending certain classic car events and motor-racing occasionally.
But I do savour “quiet time” at home too. I've lived alone for the last 6 years, having emerged from a long-term relationship that followed earlier married life; and re-discovered “what a great person I am to live with”... during lock-down especially!

The lady (in my dreams!) will be an enigma, generally calm by nature, but with "spark" to her personality and a "twinkle" in her eye. She'll be kind, honest, loyal, compassionate, affectionate, with her family and friends being very important.
She'll no doubt have her own life and interests, some of which we might share, a love of and interest in music, film and history especially. She'll be quite independent, but still make me feel a man, protective and important to her....and needed, but without being "needy". Someone who's naturally warm, tactile, loving and passionate. She'll be very feminine, looking after herself and taking pride in her appearance. She'll turn me on when I think of her......and someone I can't keep my hands off!
She'll enjoy dressing up in heels, but equally comfortable and happy in her jeans, snuggling on the couch. I'd love to find and hold hands with an affectionate soulmate to share laughs, some mutual interests, learning from one another, giving mutual support, holidaying together, attending events and enjoying life in general. On the other hand…..it’s also great to have the regular company of a like-minded lady to “do nothing in particular with”.
