About him
I consider myself to be articulate, educated, well mannered and generally speaking fun to be with - I am happy in my own skin having trod the path of life and can, with a little encouragement brush up fairly well. In truth I am much happier with a pair of walking boots on and a rucksack and camera and don't like to spend all day indoors. So walking, travel, photography - concerts and listening to music are some of my pastimes - I used to play guitar in a couple of bands when I was younger but have now left that to the youngsters. I have two fabulous boys with two equally fabulous grand daughters and spend time with them - however they now have their independence (almost) and so I have more free time to spend hopefully with someone to share the dream that is life.
My career has been based in technology and engineering but that has only satisfied half of my brain - the other half - the creative half - I have found to be far more interesting as I have grown older - I am looking forward to hanging up my technical boots in a year or so and so will then have more time than ever to feed the creative yearnings.

Integrity is very high on my list of qualities I would seek in a partner. Fun is a small word but again very important to me - I'm not looking for a stand up comic but definitely someone who, hopefully like me doesn't take themselves too seriously. The ability to laugh at oneself is a great asset in life.
Making a mess in the kitchen with the radio on, sharing the weather indoors or outdoors, walks, a bite to eat or an hour in the pub are all possibilities - plus of course any other interests my would be partner in crime might have. Oh, soap opera doesn't float my boat - although I could go and knock a nail in somewhere if necessary - real life is far more fascinating...
