I am an outgoing chap with a good sense of humour. I recently retired as an engineer for a large multinational and I am well travelled. I like exploring new destinations and meeting people of different cultures. I love the outdoors and regularly go country walking and cycling, and occasionally go sailing. I am interested in the arts and like going to the opera, classical concerts, museums and art exhibitions. I also like to cook on my Aga, bake my own bread and appreciate fine dining. Since retiring I regularly play Bridge at a local club. Life is to be enjoyed and I am looking for a soulmate to share that joy with.
In terms of personality I am outgoing but not extrovert. I enjoy other people's company, especially if it involves an interesting activity. I do find dates intimidating after 28 years of being happily married so you'll have try to put me at my ease!

I am looking for a lady with a good sense of humour, by which I mean that she should laugh at my jokes. She should ideally share some of my interests but I would expect her to also have interests of her own. I am seeking someone who is attractive but I consider personality to be more important.
