I love being outdoors, cycling, music, animals and being on the beach. I don't think we have to have everything in common but if you don't have a passion for at least one of these...
Divorced last year after 20 years together and have bought a cottage and rented an allotment nearby to grow lavender. So a new and exciting life!
I currently work in London managing 3 small teams. Love my job but due to retire from it in 3 years so that's where the lavender comes in. I grew up on a farm in the West Country so maybe will look to move back down eventually and do it on a bigger scale. For now i make do with heading down to Cornwall whenever I can with the body boards.
I love all weathers but plan to spend at least a couple of months abroad in the winter. Sailing, cycling, surfing? Doesn't really matter what as long as it's sunny :-)
I have a 15 year old son who stays with me every other weekend so I suppose preferable if you also have children.
I play the clarinet, saxophone and piano badly and used to sing in a choir and would like to make more time to practice but there aren't enough hours in the day when you take out sleep and work. I managed to find time to start a French course in January though so any French speakers welcome!
I enjoy life and am independent and self sufficient and have lovely friends and family but I've forgotten what doing things together is like.
I like dressing up and eating out in good restaurants but equally love camping - just don't expect straightened hair during the latter!
Ps I Love animals and have two rescue rabbits and a cat who thinks he lives here. My friend looks after them when I'm away in exchange for me chicken sitting (Is that a phrase?) The next big trip being volunteering in a wildlife/ elephant sanctuary in Thailand in the summer with my son. I do do beach/surf holidays as well, it's just good to get out of your comfort zone at times!
