About her
I'm not an average 67 year old woman.I don't think I've had an average life so far and I hope it's going to continue in the same vein. My adult children describe me as adventurous - I think that's because I travel on my own and can still surprise them when I tell them what I'm up to, like signing up for this! I'm happy on my own but also like to be sociable. Before Covid19 I enjoyed singing in a rock choir, sadly we can only perform online at the moment. Maybe that’s a blessing though!
Lots of people have taken up swimming in the sea recently since the pools have been closed. For me it’s something I’ve done most of my life - yes even when it’s very cold. Admittedly I never swim far but it’s amazing what a mood changer it can be. I also enjoy taking off on my travels. At the moment that’s restricted of course, but have campervan will travel!
Most people would describe me as self confident but I don't think I am. I do like to challenge myself though. When I was 60 I wrote a list of "Sixty things to do before I'm 61". I haven't got through it all yet, but one challenge I did achieve was sleeping outdoors in every month of the year.Yes, even in Scotland in the snow. (I did have a small tent!) That doesn't mean I'm totally outdoorsy - I like to dress smartly and go out, whether that's to lunch or dinner or whatever- always more enjoyable with a handsome companion! I'm not afraid to make a fool of myself either - otherwise I couldn't dress as a rock chick and sing with the choir. I’m on here because since retiring and moving to Troon i realise that I have very few opportunities to talk to men - let alone make friends with any. I'm not entirely happy with this method of making contact but -----

If you've read the above you'll realise that I have no problem keeping myself busy. What am I looking for? I'm looking for someone to share some time with, in amongst all the other stuff going on in my life. Someone intelligent, good looking and with a lively (young?) outlook on life. Someone with a good sense of humour, who shares some of my interests. Ok, he might not want to swim in the icy Scottish sea, but he might be prepared to hold the towel for me when I come out. In return I would support him in his activities. Someone who is not set in his ways, who still sees life as a challenge to be embraced and an adventure waiting to happen.
