I have a positive outlook on life and have learnt to take one day at a time. I cannot change anything that happened yesterday and so I look forward and not backwards. Love people who are witty or have a good sense of humour or both. I love life and enjoy it. Not too good with moaners. Have many interests, cinema, theatre, love walking, reading, listening to music of all genres, cooking, gardening, the arts, having a meaningful discussion about almost any topic. Enjoy eating out and socialising in moderation. Also I like to treat people with respect and vice versa.
Honesty and openness is important to me and like to be able to put my point forward but hopefully not acerbically. I suppose I am quite independent but do appreciate a helping hand too.
I am well travelled but it would be nice to see a lot more of England too. I work one day a week in a NT walled garden so as not to get my days muddled up!

I'm not sure I have an ideal partner idea. Someone who has a happy disposition and enjoys time together but also enjoys a little time to themselves too.A spontaneous person that can surprise me and is a touch romantic. Definitely not a stick in the mud. I like occasionally to do crazy things like a picnic on the beach in the dark or on the spur of the moment a weekend away or whatever one might suggest, within reason of course.
Smoking is I’m afraid a no go for me. Someone who takes a little pride in their appearance but not vain maybe. Someone I could also relate to as a trustworthy friend.
