About him
I was once in love with my own personal Goddess, who was my best friend,Muse,Oracle,partner in all things,& one I loved at my core.Ever since she said,"It's the bicycle or me,"I've missed her terribly,esp on my bike rides!
I've worked with CEO's & Diplomats; as well as a busboy, cook;on a Chevvy assembly line,and in a Ford foundry.Been wealthy & been broke.Seen, and lived, life from very different perspectives.
Lived in 6 countries; as happy in Tokyo or Beijing as snuggled up w/you at home, watching (bad) fiction (CNN,MSNBC,FOX),or watching the moon on the ocean from our balcony.OK w/traveling;OK with just a bit of travel.
Traveled widely & eaten widely; from Pho in Paris to Kaiseki in Tokyo;from candied scorpions in Shanghai to camel in Sydney (karma for the camel that bit me in Karachi!).
Yet, a simple grilled Salmon or chicken sandwich is all I need to be happy.
Love to laugh; love making others laugh even more.(And not just when I ask someone wonderful (like you) to go out with me.)
Like all young men,I used to be an adventure lover,and chased those dreams all over the world.Now, like all toothless old geezers,I'm very easygoing.I enjoy,but no longer need to do any particular thing,especially alone-my partner is what matters, not the venue.What I deeply want is to fall asleep with the one I love in my arms.And to wake up with her.And count my blessings as I do so.
Life has been good to me,but I long to share it with someone I love.

She can, but need not, be "successful" in any particular endeavor, except at being herself; need not have traveled the world, and may, or may not, want to; may prefer Escada or jeans (or Escada jeans!) She neither demands PDA, nor is horrified by an occasional quick hug at a boarding lounge, (or police line-up!).
She needs, (or can fake), a healthy appetite for humor, even mine. Affectionate; compassionate; empathetic; both left and right-brain problem-solver; patient; resilient; open-minded;able to be wrong when she's (generally) wrong; gracious and patient when she's (occasionally) right.
She's a great communicator, including painful things in our relationship,or her history. Emotionally available to accept the love I feel for her, and to give it freely (preferably to me). And she agrees to a sacred pact that we will never go to sleep w/o an embrace;a nurturing reminder of why we're together.

We ALL have baggage; (everyone looks normal until you get to know them), and while some may claim they have no baggage, I've never met, heard of, or read about one.
We share our baggage with those we love; instinctively and patiently supporting each other when life hits hard, and being a dependable safety net to help us keep going.
