About her
My friends got together and came up with ten words to describe me: attractive, intelligent, reflective, thoughtful, English rose, good friend, traveller, dog lover, creative, petite - well, actually that's twelve words. I love the countryside and the great outdoors but I am not particularly sporty. I keep myself busy and can always find friends to do things with - and I have a lot of fun - but it's the doing-nothing moments that are harder! It would be much more fun if there were someone special to share them with, to laugh and chat with. Theatre, walks, travel? Or just a nice leisurely meal? I enjoy music, and reading, and my garden and my dog, and my three, soon to be five, grandchildren.

I am looking for someone kind and honest and articulate - ideally someone who shares my cultural language and background. Laughter is important. I have become used to my own space and I value that, and value other people who are comfortable in their own space too. We all come with emotional baggage, and with family and friends who are important to us, and we respect that. It's a great help if you like my friends, and I like yours! I'd like to travel - not far, necessarily - and discover new places, and that is much more fun with a friendly companion.
