Sam and I have been friends since we first met at university and since then we have shared many a happy memory together.

My first taste of travelling was with Sam in toe when we discovered the sights the US had to offer. Since then she has continued her travels from the far reaches of Thailand to the snowy ski slopes of Austria but my favourite memory of our time away involved a large bin, some rubber gloves and a lost bus ticket...but I'll let Sam tell you that story!

Sam is very passionate about her job as a primary school teacher and loves all aspects of this crazy profession, especially the opportunities for donning a dressing up costume or two and re-telling some very amusing stories. With this job comes many admirable attributes but the one Sam will swear blind she is not is a perfectionist (well don't listen to a word she says, she is!) but that's one of the reasons we love her!

Sam is incredibly honest, a little too honest some may say, but nonetheless you always know where you stand with Sam! She is also one of the most generous and caring people I know, if ever you need her she is always there.

Sam's love of what I would call 'boy films' has always made her very popular with our male friends but if the truth be told she also loves a good chick flick along with the rest of us, in fact as a cinema companion she's perfect!
