Looking for that soulmate who can join me on the road less travelled. I am easygoing, sensitive and relaxed in company. I enjoy history, walking, cinema, theatre, eating out, country weekends and city breaks. My radios are tuned to Radio 4. I play golf and tennis regularly and enjoy ballroom dancing. Good listener, patient and understanding. Not afraid to talk about feelings and emotions. Have been known to write questionable poetry, usually when my heart has been broken! Sharing, enjoying and discussing things that mutually appeal with someone special makes life so much more rewarding. At the same time, I feel that appreciating and respecting someone's space is also important.
Visiting London is a treat these days now that I no longer have to commute. I enjoy going to major art and history exhibitions in the capital. I enjoy going on country and London walks.
Would like to see more of the world. A European walking holiday, USA and a trip to Costa Rica are some of my travel aspirations. Favourite place? Italy - wonderful history, language, food and scenery. Second favourite place? The Lake District.
