I'm Mike, early 60-something who hopefully isn't over the hill just yet!
I'm originally from Surrey but have lived in Hampshire for the past 30 years.
Right, so a little bit about me -
I've dabbled in a bit of am-dram (more emphasis on the 'am' - I certainly wouldn't consider myself to be the next Eddie Redmayne!) and also enjoy sitting the other side of the stage with trips to the theatre and West End. Also like to go to the odd live gig, you can't beat live music in my opinion.
I also try and get out on the golf course when I can, I love exploring new parts of the UK and I'm looking to tick a few more European cities off my bucket list in the near future. Good company and a good bottle of wine, while soaking up some culture off the beaten track is a perfect holiday formula for me.
I definitely consider myself to have healthy appetite so trying out new restaurants and recipes at home is something else I really enjoy.
I also love a pub quiz and can occasionally get a few questions right on University Challenge!
Anyway, I don't take myself too seriously so looking for some laughs and hopefully something more.
