Life needs to be lived to the full so being healthy and active encourages one to do just that.
I like to be doing things and have been able to turn my hand to most things albeit in an average sort of way. DIY was/is my speciality, I tolerate gardening and like cars.
I am told I can be quite lateral at times a likeable trait. I do have a sense of humour, it's very important to be able to laugh with people and enjoy yourself.
I would like to take up golf again after a 23 year lay off due to working too many hours and hurting my shoulder on a lawnmower.
Sharing with a friend or partner is much more fun and I hope to do that again.
I believe I am a caring, kind man capable of making someone very happy.
About his ideal match
Easy going, wanting to do simple enjoyable things with me. Coffee shops, restaurants, pubs (quizzes), days out, even shopping, all come to mind. Walks, not treks, in the countryside also.
Getting away in the winter to warmer climes is also desirable.
Laughing together is most important, that shows you are having fun.
Non smoker is a must, slim and attractive preferred, I can manage two out of the three.

Peter is a very generous and inquisitive man, who enjoys a fine pint of ale. He's very capable and talented, and always aims for everyone to be comfortable and happy. He enjoys driving, keeps meaning to dig out the golf clubs, and will happily wander around the shops, garden centre or wherever. He likes his guitar music, and tries to keep up with technology and gadgetry, although not to excess, and is very good with fixing things around the home.
