Hello and thanks for looking at my profile. I live on the coast and just love the sea.
I'm pretty laid back, I'm also impatient sometimes, have good friends, a good life and am happy with myself so would love to share that with a special someone.
I love to garden, read, paint (that's pictures not skirting boards), discover new places, entertain and have fun. I enjoy walking and the opportunities are endless where I live.
I watch football and rugby and enjoy most sport (can't do cricket or F1) and used to surf and water ski - some time ago you understand!
Good conversation is always a joy and I can do silence too.
I like walking and taking in the surroundings, enjoying nature and everything it offers. I like the theatre, shows, cinema, galleries and some museums. I like to visit new places, have a mooch about in a new location. I have no interest in soaps or big brother type programmes and a day shopping is not on my must do list.
I have always done caravans and camping (although no more tents now please). Would love to wander around Britain in a motor home. That's not to say I don't love hotels and being spoilt.
I wouldn't enjoy life without music and I love all sorts from Meatloaf to Mendelssohn and lots in between.
If you don't love and respect animals we probably wont get on and if you type in text style then I just won't be able to understand it. We all say age is just numbers well the same applies to miles.

I wish I knew what the ideal match is! Then I'd be really clever. Laughter is very important so you need to be able to laugh together. Some things in common I suppose but also differences. Sometimes you can unexpectedly click with someone then not get along with someone you would expect to. That's the joy of life and meeting people. Please be retired, as I am. Who knows what's ideal...........but if you would carry that piece of driftwood up from the beach for me that would be wonderful!
