About her
Sunshine and the still blue air are fine, but I am a woman who loves it when the summer days' clouds turn yellow-green and the thunder brings in the waterfalls from the sky. That is one lovely memory I have of my native Ohio summers.
My past life in Ohio is just part of who I am.
I have done the rough camping in Colorado with the freaking bears and loved it. Now, I am more interested in the king-sized beds at the purple boutique hotels. I have had numerous of fun and mad experiences with European travels filled with ancient pensiones and communal toilets. Still interested in doing the same in further away countries with options of upgrades. Previously, in my 20's, my days and nights were mixed up. Now, as a woman, I enjoy the going out and hitting the town, but I find bliss on those wonderful nights where I am curling up on the sofa binge-watching in front of Netflix. My wardrobe allows me to dress up stylish, but secretly I prefer slumming it in my grubbies. My favourite type of movies is where I can count the number of helicopters blowing up. My least favourite are the tearjerkers -I hate crying in public ... or in private. Because I was born in Mexico City and have moved back and forth between the US and Europe, I have never been tied down to one place. Still not quite sure what I want to be when I grow up. I found myself working as the KS2 RE teacher in a primary school. As the RE teacher, I'm not afraid to tell the uneasy truths nor afraid to ask the uncomfortable questions. To this day, I continue to fantasize about being an archaeologist or to be the conservator for a Caravaggio painting. I once held ambitions to finish Joyce's Finnegan's Wake, but now I am resigned to pretending to know what it all means. As for music tastes? Basically, the grunge never left. However, I do enjoy practically everything, but am low on the country music stuff. Maybe someone can enlighten me. I enjoy roaming through the avant-garde glass and steel art galleries, though I prefer the Medieval soul.
