About him
I retired to my home county of Suffolk in 2017 and after a couple of house moves finally settled in the centre of Bury St Edmunds. I did try country/village living for a few years and enjoyed it but I finally decided that Bury, with all its attractions and options for socialising, is the best place for me to live.
I am active, sociable, and enjoy the arts. I walk and cycle rather than engage in team sports. I read widely and have recently taken up photography again. I enjoy cooking, good food and evenings out at restaurants, also cinema, theatre and classical concerts. The availability of social activities in Bury is something I am beginning to explore. So far I have contacted the U3A and will also explore Photography and Bridge clubs.
For the moment I have chosen to hide my photo, or at least to restrict it to 'Favourites' only.
