Tall, slim, fit, hairy & occasionally bearded - I'm well spoken, easy-going, friendly and looking to meet and see how we get along. Enjoy wide ranging conversation, have a dry, often risque sense of humour & love word-play/banter.
I enjoy entertaining friends, eating out, quiet nights in/cooking/wine tasting, visits to:- the theatre, cinema, classical music concerts, exhibitions etc.
Other interests include classic cars, private aviation (hold a PPL) walking, visits to NT properties and museums, art galleries, keen photographer, love architecture, cycling, swimming, boating.

Having given-up the gym a couple of years ago, I try to keep fit by swimming a few times a week or walking. I eat healthily most of the time - chilled meals are not on my shopping list, and I appreciate good food and wine. Although not a vegetarian I love fresh fruit and veg' - make me eat more!
I enjoy city-breaks exploring narrow streets and slightly off-the beaten-track areas, but also the countryside and seaside - where walking on a windswept beach, kicking the shingle, sand, seaweed and shells with someone special has a romantic appeal.
Somehow Europe has more culturally interesting art, architecture and history to discover. But I like long-haul/hot and exotic destinations too.
Although I enjoy socialising, I like to garden or watch something mildly edifying or amusing on TV, read or listen to music. I love classical music - but dislike the shrill and patronising voices of Classic FM announcers - however Radio Swiss Classique on the internet is a perfect alternative. Also like the chill-out sounds too and I'm a big fan of Radio 4 - I've listened to The Today programme since I was 9! (God help me)
A keen photographer, started pre-digital - used to develop and enlarge my own negs. It would be good to find someone who shares this interest.

Someone trustworthy, calm, gentle, warm, appropriately affectionate, uncomplicated and who wants to do and share things together. A mix of similar and dissimilar interests is good - willing to try/share more. I don't expect to find the perfect person - but perfectly imperfect will suffice!
