I am a vibrant female who likes to think, who likes to laugh, who enjoys socialising but equally has a serious side. I enjoy reading -browsing through the weekend papers is great, and I read both fiction and non-fiction books - and I also have a fun streak whereby I love going wild on the dance floor. I am sociable but also like my own space. I have recently returned to work and love using my brain again and enjoy the camaraderie of the workplace. I am a good cook, and enjoy convivial evenings of cooking and chatting to friends or family, over a glass or two. I'd like to find an intelligent partner - I don't need to be impressed by fancy dinners etc ... although I do like eating out. I work, and have independent means, so I'm not expecting to be paid for! I'd far prefer good conversation, witty at times, and interesting company. Laughing is important, so a similar sense of humour is essential. Theatre or cinema trips would be good. I am active and have a dog and I like taking her for walks. I am a mix between an optimist and a realist - with a positive outlook on life.

I'd like to find an intelligent, interesting, witty man, who shares some of my interests - who reads and enjoys theatre/cinema. Someone who is happy with who they are, and does not have the need to impress. I know that sport features highly in a lot of men's lives, but my ideal partner would not be overly wedded to sport - either doing or watching. But someone who is fit and healthy is important - who likes walking and perhaps playing tennis and ski-ing too and who has a positive view of life - not in a daft naive way, but who appreciates good fortune and the ability to do things. And finally manners are important - I'll open a door for someone and thank someone who does the same for me, and I'd hope my partner would do the same.
