About her
I have a good sense of fun, curiosity and am young in spirit - and at heart!. I’m a pretty social animal but also quite thoughtful. Friends say I'm upbeat, honest, a good and loyal friend - kind and a great listener.. and good at problem solving!
I love traveling and exploring new places and have recently been to Rome, Sicily and Porto/Lisbon. I’m heading back to Lisbon soon for my third visit - ther’s something about it I love. I really enjoy cooking - and eating! - great food. From childhood I’ve had a strong creative/artistic streak and am interested in art and design - and frequently head off to galleries to see a variety of exhibitions. (Saw the Don McCullin exhition recently - brutal but truly brilliant) I'm also a pretty big reader - I belong to a book club - and am a frequent cinema/theatre go-er. I just rewatched the wonderful LalaLand - and loved the offbeat Three Billboards.
Favourite things include walking by the sea or by the river; relaxing and chatting over supper and a drink; watching films - trying new restaurants and planning weekends/trips away to explore new places. And yoga/pilates as well as long walks to stay fit and toned! I love London, there always so much on offer - but also love the coast and countryside - travelling to and exploring new places. Although I’m busy and social there’s a gap I’d love to fill - now both daughters are up and running - younger one is still at university, I'd really love to find a new romance and long term partner - with some shared passions and interests as well as their own!
I currently work part time as a leadership/executive coach - both in business and increasingly in the charity sector. Prior to that for many year I was a planner in the advertising world.
