About him
I have a positive attitude to life, I'm tactile, loving, bubbly and bouncy, enjoy socialising whether arranged or impromptu and try to look at life as a glass 3/4 full. Family and friends would say I'm always there when needed and the farmhouse kitchen door is always open. I adore my family and maintaining contact with my children and grandchildren is very important and equally I would wish to embrace any new family I may be involved with. Snow photos are on a glacier this month in NZ. It was freezing and got blown away, it was such fun.
Convent educated, after enjoying a variety of careers from criminal law to property developing, I created my own property and equestrian businesses that I have run for the last 22 years.
For entertainment wellies or heels, horse trials, country shows, theatre, concerts, musical events or just watching the sun go down, a shared tapas overlooking the sea a gorgeous meal at a restaurant. I love diverse types of music, dancing, sing when no one's around, my clay shooting needs improvement so I pot more clays than people and a renewed interest in playing the guitar is as they say, a work in progress, I can supply ear defenders!!
My ancestry includes pioneers to Australia (not the criminal kind) so maybe that has impacted sub-consciously on my attitude to life to just get on with things. Diverse life experiences include literally living the 'good life', driving the original hippy trail to India, safari in Kenya and living in southern Spain for part of the last 9 years.
I am happy with my country way of life and a quiet meal cooked on the Aga, then cuddling by a log fire with my lurcher and overgrown shih tzsu, is just as perfect as dressing for an expensive restaurant. Equally I love travel and intend to do more around the UK and abroad, to discover wondrous sights, ancient cities, incredible landscapes, laze on beaches, swim in warm waters and experience different cultures and foods. Visiting the gorillas, seeing elephants again and maybe the Galapagos would be on my bucket list.

Opposites can attract and there is no accounting for physical attraction, which is essential in my mind. I'm looking for a longterm relationship with someone well travelled, retired or retiring, a family, animal and country loving man with worldly experiences, happy in flip flops, wellies or brogues with a wicked sense of fun and a not too serious view on life, to share time between the countryside and the sea and travels abroad.
