About her
I decided it is time to try and make this more interesting. This selling yourself is difficult. What might people dislike about me? Well I am very broad minded and outward looking partly due to the work I was involved in for twenty years as a senior nurse in the NHS. I I can’t bear political correctness and being punctual is important. I can’t stand hypocrites or snobs and have a problem with people who are overly religious ( I know that can’t be right). I think my friends would describe me as loyal, kind and generous with a bubbly personality. Since retiring I have packed lots in, renovating my house and travelling extensively. I love doing all the usual things and like driving and visiting different parts of the UK and the Walker and Tate in Liverpool.
I am fortunate in having good health. I enjoy clothes and although my look is smart casual I like making a special effort when the occasion arises. I value friendship and have a group of friends from very diverse backgrounds.
I still do some interesting work one or two days some weeks. At present I am struggling trying to learn Spanish as I love the culture and food! I also love the cities of Spain and it would be wonderful to revisit some of them again.
It would be great to meet someone to help me with the Times crossword which I attempt daily and rarely complete! I take an interest in current affairs but am not political. My two daughters and their families are happy, well adjusted people live a few miles away.
I’m fortunate to have good health and am reasonably energetic though you won’t me climbing mountains or running half marathons.
I’m optimistic that there is someone out there with similar qualities. I am looking to meet a successful professional who has a good sense of humour and wants to enjoy all life has to offer, particularly travel.
