Well... here goes...
My friends would say I have a quiet, calm charm and am generous & thoughtful.
Although subjective I know, I'd say I'm warm, affectionate and loyal. I'm a good listener, and will do everything I can to put others first. I love to laugh and really enjoy making others happy. I'm passionate about learning & discovering new things.
I love travelling to new places, am always up for an adventure and feel in my element when I'm travelling or on a journey to somewhere new. I also really love the countryside, beautiful vistas, the sea and spotless beaches.
I grew up in Africa, but my family are from England. I moved to Herefordshire when I was in my early twenties. For work reasons, I'm now living closer to London and love living by the sea.
I enjoy a wide range of music - classical, jazz, pop, soul, folk especially like going to concerts or gigs.
I love animals - don't have any pets right now, but in the future would love to have a dog and/or a cat. I'm a speech & language therapist by profession, working with children & families - Like most speech therapists, I love a good conversation - topics ranging from A-Z!
In my free time, I enjoy walking - doing more of this these days - and take a lot of pleasure from being outdoors. An ambition is to walk part of the Camino in Northern Spain someday. I belong to a book club - read one new book a month and also go to events at the local French Society. I enjoy swimming, going to museums or exhibitions of various kinds and love history.
My outlook on life is positive - if you don't have a go at something you think might be worthwhile, then you'll never know - guess that's why I'm on this site. Looking forward now to meeting someone special - could that be you?
