I am capable, adaptable, & passionate. I have a large number of interests. Archtecture, vintage cars, bikes, gardening, National Trust, environment, travell, running. I spend a lot if time maintaining both things and friends.😀
I have no baggage and am completely free for the rest of my life.
I am fairly well traveled, but limited to schoolboy French! Good food, friends, wine, weather and in a certain style.
Despite my own varied interests I would like to share someone else's.
When not 'out and about' I enjoy my home life. I have too big a garden that overflows with fruit, but needs little attention. Fresh eggs and asparagus with a glass of cold crisp white in the Summer. Bonfires, BBQ's and log fires in winter with a glass of red. All but the wine home-grown.
I'm fairly eco-friendly, compost, logs, solar panels, a well for the garden. I do my bit.
I'll have a try at most things with a motto "If someone else can do it, then I should be able to". I draw the line at brain surgery!😁
I am capable, astute, intuitive, observant, thoughtful, honest and caring. I learn by discussion and lively debate as this can be exciting with the right people. I can sometimes be oversensitive, a little impatient, and occasionally dismissive. However I will think about it when you point it out and do accept my weaknesses. I like a degree of clean, organised and tidy, but not obsessive.
I enjoy a relaxed weekend with friends and would hope you would enjoy this way of life too. Good ingredients and simple food. I can normally rustle up something out of the pantry.
I would have liked to be a parent but know I am a good uncle.
I am Trustee for a charity and race old cars, or travel abroad with them.

So why should you get to know my friend Mike?
Where shall I start? And how much dirt shall I dish?!
Mike has been my friend for over twenty years and from day one he has held a dear place in my heart. He has a razor sharp wit and a better memory than he admits which he puts to good use recalling the antics of my youth much to my Husband's amusement! But behind this sits a very, very kind and loyal friend and someone I think would make a good, loving and loyal husband/partner to the right person. He has perhaps been a little too loyal to others in the past, but to me that shows his strength of character and his unwavering commitment.
Would Mike be on my radar if I wasn't very happily married? Yes I think he would. He's one of life's good guys and young at heart.
You may have guessed from reading his profile that Mike is one for doing things and he doesn't sit still for long unless good conversation, food and wine are involved or you've asked him to cuddle up with you on the sofa and watch a film!
