About him
I am a (almost) retired university lecturer and I spend about a third of my time at my little home in Italy (in the town my granddad came from). I paint in oils a lot, mostly people and animals, and sell a few pictures. I generaly like making and mending things. I read a lot and listen to the BBC World Service, where the interviewers don't interrupt the interviewees all the time! I like to cook but dislike cookery programmes on TV. I have an allotment with a big polytunnel where I grow my special Italian tomatoes for making my year's supply of passata. I'm early to bed and early to rise and OK with my own company. I like to travel with a purpose, especially to visit galleries or historic places, but also like to stay at home and potter and think. I would like to have someone special to share with.
