I went to a property auction last month. I didn't go to buy anything, but it was being held in a wonderful old building. The atmosphere was great, and between each lot there was movement and chat before the auctioneer took control again. The reason for saying this here is because today, at a big family meal, I was mentioning it to my nephew, and we decided that we should find an auction where there are things we can bid for; boxes or plates or chairs, etc. At the property auction, people were just lifting one finger and the bid was being accepted. It was fun to be part of, so I am going to look for auctions. It has been suggested that this box is filled with a description of me, of my hobbies, my outlook on life . . . it's good to try something new, it's great to be smiling.
