I enjoy walking in our beautiful Peak Park with my faithful hound, in fact I quite like walking all over the place, not obsessively but I just love being outside and walking is free until reach the pub or curry house at the end, a just reward!
I like my house which I have recently built, having been in the business of renovating houses all my life, and my garden too though I guess I'm more of a planter than a maintenance kinda gal. Ive just sold my pied a terre in Fowey and my business in Shjeffield so thinking a caravan may be fun, there is a stack of Europe and actually the UK I've never visited, that is what I plan to do at least until my daughter and son give me babysitting duties.
I have played a lot of tennis all my life but hung up my racquet at the beginning of COVID and moved over to play golf, bit of a love hate relationship here. This is not yet a done deal the racquet may reappear but competitive tennis won’t.
I like bridge and card games and board games too but bridge is a lot of fun and I need to know more, it intrigues me.
Cooking I like, just need someone to chat to when slurping that glass of wine during the prep stage and obviously eat the provender. We need to eat so let’s enjoy the experience it’s not a chore, or even go out!. I Covid built a party shed at the bottom of the garden and have a lot of fun entertaining outdoors and barbecuing skills are now amazing (don’t read good into that) but a good giggle all the same, and my new pizza oven is baffling at best.
And like most folk I like travelling, I enjoy visiting new places in the UK, Europe and further afield, experiencing different food, cultures, music, art, being outside in the sun and having new adventures be it hiking up a mountain, skiing down a mountain (very rusty these days), sailing round a mountain (also rusty), visiting an art gallery, or ancient house and chilling with a bottle of wine under the stars and learning all about you whoever you are.

Essentially I'm looking for someone special who gets me. Someone fun and definitely quirky would be ideal with a sense of adventure, and an interest in what is going on around us. I would like to expand my knowledge of art and have always loved music in all its forms but have a lot to learn so a patient scribe would be amazing. I’m happy in a field listening to the hum of insects but also happy catching a bus or a train in some faraway place, a beautiful mountain, a glorious beach, a sparkling river, all tick boxes for me. I’m just an incurable romantic and want to share life’s rich tapestry. So ideally someone artistic, bonkers, healthy and kind would be ideal but then who knows who will light that touch paper that sends you spiralling out of control…. is it you??? C'est possible….
