I'm a writer. My work doesn't involve set hours, so if it's a nice day and I want to sit in the garden or go for a walk, that's exactly what I do. And with a promenade and beach outside my front door, that's easy. It's freedom plus job satisfaction, all in one package. I am actively involved in a small, very specialist but fascinating museum charity, which gives a lot of satisfaction. I feel way younger than my years, with no wish to retire completely, but I'd love to be able to share all my free time with someone close who, like me, still takes an interest in everything going on in the world.
