I love life and all the variety it brings. I am equally happy at Glyndebourne or Glastonbury, in the city or countryside, reading a book or painting the town red. I love adventurous holidays, listening to live music, meeting up with friends and anything to do with boats. I am definitely not ready to declare myself old yet! I appreciate 5 star luxury quite happy to rough it when required. I am outward going and sociable but also at ease with my own company. I love to be active. I cycle when I can, play tennis regularly and always on the look out for the next physical challenge (I have just finished walking the length of the Thames and have my eye on the Camino de Santiago next). I am intelligent, have an inquisitive and active mind, enjoy stimulating conversation and hold down a reasonably sensible job. I live alone with regular visits from my 3 children (who are in their 20s) and their numerous friends which I love. Family is important to me. I am solvent (school fees now done and dusted but still one financially dependent offspring) but not wealthy. I have a strong moral compass and it's important to me to be decent to others when I can. I would love to find someone to share the next stage of life's adventures ....... I seem to live in a world of couples and it can feel a little lonely at times.
