I'm generally relaxed and happy, I like my job and where I live, but there's something missing or I wouldn't be writing this terrible personal cv. But I guess we're all in the same boat, so it's time I stopped thinking about it and started actually trying to meet someone. I love music - I was looking forward to Download last year (metal fan alert, just without the long hair, tattoos & piercings, which could either be really good or a big disappointment, depends on your tastes...). I'm trying to go swimming more often and would be keen to play badminton more - there's definitely room for improvement in that part of my life. I have a second car that I don't really need but it makes a great noise. I like to read/watch the news and be up to speed on current affairs and would consider myself well-informed on most things, but with some glaring gaps - if you want to discuss the ending of Game of Thrones, you're out of luck I'm afraid, never seen a single episode. I don't like horror films, so don't even ask - not going to happen. I could write more, but I feel like I'm just rambling, so I'm going to opt for the old 'feel free to ask' finishing line.

I'm guessing this isn't the right place to list my celebrity crushes... I probably shouldn't start with a negative, but I'm not sure I'd suit someone who's highly strung. I'd definitely prefer chilled, pragmatic, dare I say it... sensible. But with a silly streak. We can walk, watch TV, cook, go to the pub and gigs together, all the usual. Someone who prefers hotels to camping. The website suggestion for filling out this section mentions deal breakers. I guess being irresponsible with money would worry me, but if you've made it this far through life, you've probably got that covered.
