Hello
I would describe myself as kind, compassionate, positive, sensitive, trustworthy and respectful. I am on here for genuine reasons and am looking for that one special person. Can I respectfully request no 'smiley icons' or such like please- it doesn't tell me anything about you and a message is so much nicer.
I love walking and am particularly fond of the Norfolk coast. I regularly walk 8-10 miles with a walking group - a lovely way to catch up with friends and keep fit at the same time. I try to take care of myself and value my health and well-being - I want to continue enjoying life; keeping fit and healthy is integral to that.
I enjoy good food and wine (but most importantly in good company) and can cook a bit too. Also enjoy good books, film, theatre, music, museums/exhibitions, art, beach-combing, the natural environment and many other things, including of course good coffee & cake! I also love animals...creatures great and small.
Travel has always been a passion...new adventures, discovering culture, history & traditions. I worked/lived abroad for many years, mainly in Greece and Cyprus and am very much a Grecophile, although I love discovering other parts of Europe and further afield. I am now very settled in Norfolk, having moved here from Lincolnshire 5 years ago. I equally enjoy discovering this beautiful county as well as spending weekends away in UK..
