Educated and passionate urbanite seeks wing-woman for discovering running routes, indie cinema, (indie/house) music, travel, coffee, Chianti, London restaurants/bars/food fairs and.... hopefully... each other 😉. I am driven and a high achiever (in portfolio management)... But with that I am also deeply passionate, caring and romantic...
I am a regular cinema goer.. mainly stuff you might see at the Curzon...some favourites from the last year or two were Blade Runner, I Tonya, Blackkklansmann and Cold War. Don't tell anyone but I also quite enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians :)
Music is another big passion ... Some favourites: Stone Roses/New Order/Radiohead/The Rapture/Chemical Brothers/Bob Moses and lots of electronic artists you probably haven’t heard of 🙂....but my tastes are broad.
Books: some recent favourites.. Do No Harm (brain surgeon experiences), Fragile Lives (heart surgeon), Pour Me (A A Gill) and Simon Reeves new autobiography (it is amazing to read how he turned his life around...inspiring stuff!).
Keeping fit: I run a few times a week and workout regularly. Nothing like listening to some new music while running on Wimbledon Common on a balmy summer’s evening 🏃🏻♂️
Travel: I’ve been to 50+ countries.. love Italy (Tuscany/Umbria), Latin America & Brazil particularly.
I’m a coffee snob...none of that Starbucks rubbish for me 🙂. I also make an outstanding flat white in the morning 😜
Film/TV taste: Independent Cinema/Scandi-noir/Spiral/Bridge/Narcos/ Fargo/Handmaid’s Tale. I miss the Mighty Boosh & Flight of the Conchords a lot 😕.
