Nothing ventured, nothing gained, so here goes. I am looking for someone who has a smile in their eyes, a sense of fun, a rapier wit and is a genuine, kind person. I am not used to blowing my own trumpet, dinging my own triangle or whatever else springs to mind, but I am an honest, loyal, loving person and I would like to find the same. I love music, books, trains, boats and planes, and I am as happy with the simple things in life as I am with grand occasions. Love birds, particularly parrots, loathe smoking and I am allergic to cats. Oh, and I like cake...this does not mean that I am gargantuan, by the way. I am a member of MENSA, but this doesn’t mean that I am an egghead, either. Just normal, just looking for my special someone....
