I love writing on the first page of a new notebook, the scent of roses and dramatic sunsets. I love sunny Saturday mornings - sitting in the garden with the first cup of coffee of the day, admiring my efforts after a day of gardening or decorating, walking through bluebells. I like exploring new places, and love Italy. I am intelligent and reasonably confident (the odd crisis apart) and have enjoyed a challenging and really interesting career to date. I like the stage I've got to, of knowing what is important, and what I like. I don’t like soap operas or reality tv, people who think it ok to be rude and aggressive behind the wheel. I would rather spend an evening talking one-to-one with a like-minded person than making small talk to a group of people. My DIY skills are not bad; I think I'm quite good with a power drill, but I'm defeated by getting corks out of champagne bottles.
